Our purpose is to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience, and agility trials.

ACTIVITIES

We present dog shows, obedience, rally, and agility trials and Fun Matches annually under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

Our club also supports other local non-profit animal organizations and is active in providing education and information to the general public.

MEETINGS

Our club meets the first Thursday of each month. Contact a club officer for meeting location and time.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club is open to dog fanciers who are at least 18 years of age and are in good standing with the American Kennel Club.

Applicants for membership must complete a YVKC membership form, attend two meetings OR be sponsored by two existing club members in good standing, before being voted in as a member.

We recommend you locate the National Club for whatever dog breed you're searching for. This is perhaps the safest method to locate an ethical breeder for that dog breed.
